In order to correct problems in battery power management software, follow these steps:-
1. At first click on Start button and type "Device manager" on search bar.
2. Then open "Device manager".
3. You will see "Batteries" on Device manager. Double click on it to expand Batteries category.
4. In Batteries category you will see "Microsoft ACPI Compliant Control Method Battery", right click on it and select uninstall.
5. Again go to Device Manager. On Device Manager taskbar click on "Action" then "Scan for hardware changes".
Finally you will see that your laptop indicate that the battery pluged in and charging.
